Assistant Basketball Coach   Hagerstown Community College Hawks          
March 2005 to Present
     Duties include: assisting the head coach with recruiting, fund-raising, weight room practices, post player skill development, day-to-day practice planning, game tape analysis and pre and post-season conditioning. Also responsible for the defensive instruction of the team. The program has had the following records over the past three seasons: 17-11, 24-7, 25-5 and 18-12. The team was ranked as high as sixth in the NJCAA Division II Poll during the 2007- 2008 season and was Co-Champions of the Maryland JuCo Conference. This season, the Hawks finished second in the conference.

Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach
   Boonsboro High School        
November 1993 to February 2005
     Worked with parents and teachers at the middle and elementary feeder schools to build programs which would provide more opportunities for skill development of  young female athletes. The last eight years are witness to the success and the growth of these programs as the middle school program had three grade levels participating in the Mid-Maryland Basketball Association and the elementary schools had numerous teams and over 120 young players. As a result, Boonsboro High has become one of the best Division 1A teams in the state of Maryland. Other responsibilities included: Conducted team try-outs, held parent meetings, scheduled and planned practice sessions, worked on skill development of each player, scouted opponents, coached games, annually ran fund-raisers to help pay for new uniforms and equipment, and most importantly maintained a close supervision of players academic progress.  

Western Maryland Lightning AAU Coach
April 1998 to June 1998     April 1999 to June 1999  
     Conducted try-outs and team selection. Established playing schedule. Scheduled and conducted practices. Fund-raised to assist in uniform purchasing and payment of tournament entry fees. The team competed in the Maryland state AAU 16-under age division.

Player Coach     Hanscom AFB, MA
September 1972 to March 1973  
     Conducted team try-outs and selected team for Hanscom AFB Base Basketball team. Organized and scheduled practices. Worked with base athletic staff to establish a 22 game schedule. Played against other Air Force and Naval Stations in the New England area as well as Division III and local community colleges. Organized transportation to and from games. The team participated in the Air Force Systems Command Basketball Tournament in Albuquerque, NM.
