THEATER SCREEN ANALYSISThe Theater Screen layout certainly allows for a good long main line, in fact about 123 feet of it. And all in only an area of 95 square feet spread against one corner of a basement. In comparison to a typical table layout it has approximately 75 percent more main line track and lots more room to move around. What must be given up, of course, is the expansive landscapes with mountains and the illusion of distant horizons, which for many modelers may be their favorite part. If so, this theater screen is not for them. On the other hand, one can easily inspect the details of any shelf-vignette right up close since the vertical screen holds everything in the foreground. More important than either of these factors, however, is the theater screen's orientation for operation. The obvious point-to-point structure with distinct shelf-stops make operation much more like the prototype. To illustrate this point, the next web page provides an example. |
