THE TURNTABLESteam locomotives required a lot of maintenance and turntables were used to shuffle them in and out of various stalls in the roundhouse. It also turned them around at the end of the line to head out again. Mine actually rotates under power although it usually needs some finger power to align perfectly to the track. The old locomotive is just for show since we're fully diesel-lized. (trees and sky inserted)
